ELECTION NOTIFICAITON
INCAA announce the election of the Governing Council members for the period 2023-2026.
The Governing Council of INCAA, appointed Professor R. Siva Prasad as the Election Officer for conducting the election of the Governing Council Members of INCAA. The official email id of the Election Commissioner is eo@incaa.in.
Prof. R. Siva Prasad, in the capacity of Election Officer for conducting the elections to elect members for the Governing Body of INCAA for three years w.e.f. December 30, 2023, hereby notify the following schedule for the said elections:

Filing of Nominations
From December 9 to 20, 2023, till 24.00 hours

The members are here by further, notified that the elections will be conducted online, using the election portal available on the new INCAA website (incaa.in). All the Founder and Life Members whose names have been verified on the new INCAA website are eligible to nominate and/or vote following the procedure informed on this website from time to time)
Procedure for filing Nomination
The members eligible to vote in INCAA elections can sign in the new INCAA website (incaa.in). Go to their Dashboard. Click on ‘Election portal’ to go to ‘Announcements’. Find the ‘INCAA 2023 ELECTIONS’ in the list which is ACTIVE during the days of nomination period (i.e., December 9-18, 2023). Click view. Follow the ‘Nomination’ instructions and nominate any candidate of your choice. Malke sure that the candidate selected is alive, and accepts your nomination. Select a ‘Backer’ from among the list of INCAA members to support your nomination. Note that only one candidate can be nominated by any member of INCAA. A member can be Backer for a maximum of two candidates only. After the nomination by any member, the member who has been nominated and who has been requested to be Backer will have to accept the nomination in order for the nomination to be successful. The candidate who has been nominated and who has been selected as ‘BACKER’ too will have to approve the nomination online, using the election portal of new INCAA website. Once the nomination is completed successfully a pop up will confirm the same on the website.
Procedure for Withdrawal of Nomination
The members who had earlier accepted nomination but subsequently want to withdraw can do so online visiting the new INCAA website (incaa.in). Go to their Dashboard. Click on ‘Election portal’ to go to ‘Announcements’. Under Nominate’, find the red button ‘withdraw’. Click this button to withdraw.
Procedure for Voting
The members eligible to vote in INCAA elections can sign in the new INCAA website (incaa.in). Go to their Dashboard. Click on ‘Election portal’ to go to ‘Elections’. Find the list of candidates contesting. Click in the box against the name of the candidate to vote. Note that a maximum of 21 members can be voted by each member of INCAA.
On top one can find a number which indicates the maximum votes one can poll at the beginning of voting. As one starts voting, the number will keep decreasing showing how many more can be voted. However, it is not compulsory to cast vote to 21 members. You can complete voting with any number. To complete voting press submit button.
